Hello there!  I am Karin Schumacher but most people just call me "Shoe". I started an interest in canines at an early age.  Before I could get a dog of my own, my father wanted me to learn more about breeds, their up keep,grooming, and training involved. Luckily, my fathers' secretary was a breeder for AKC with her Shitzu's, she was happy to allow me to help her out at AKC obediance trials, agility training, and breed conformation. Mostly I learned about grooming, but it was a good opportunity because I got to watch and learn about the other aspects of breeding, trick training, showmanship, and other things going on around me. It has been a life long dream of mine to be a breeder! My first  canine was a West Highland Terrier. I  was 9 years old when I picked "Fritz" out of a long standing breeders' litter whom I met at the AKC. At 11 years old i competed against 24 adults in a dog obediance show for ages 18 on up I placed 3rd out of all the adult trainers, I knew then that someday i would own my own kennel and raise the dogs i love. went on training my "westie" to hunt squirrels that inspired me to continue on training  in other areas and examine other breeds of canines and what other types of training were out there for canines. Professionally,  I strongly urge that children and adults to get involved with their pets starting with basic training. Obediance Training is healthy for our bodies and bonds

us with our pets resulting in a better companionship together. You will be happier

with your dog and the little bit of start up training that goes into ownership will pay

off in the long run.  My family and I choose to breed beagles because of their spirit,

spunk, easy care, and family friendlyness. Beagles fit into all life styles and walks of
